The terms and conditions detailed below apply to the use of this Website and by accessing this Website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. There is also useful information for Customers who may have purchased a product via our Store network.
Orders
Your order will be accepted as soon as we have confirmed receipt of it, which is conditional on the availability of the product. If for any reason the product you order is unavailable we reserve the right to cancel your order.

Cancellation, returns and refunds
Web Orders
You have the right to cancel your order at any time before you receive delivery by contacting our Customer Service Representatives by e-mail, or call us on 01842 764761 Monday - Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm. If these products have already been dispatched when you contact us you will be advised regarding collection details.
We hope you’ll be pleased with your purchase however, If you should change your mind once you’ve received delivery you can return the goods to Multiyork and receive a full refund. In order to do this you must notify our Customer Care Department on 01842 764761 in writing within 7 days of receipt of the goods. Our Customer Care department will then arrange collection from your home (usually within 28 days) and a refund will be issued. When returning goods you should ensure that they are returned to us unused and in the condition in which you received them.
Made to order Purchases
Due to the nature of the ‘made-to-order’ service available from our stores, you, the Customer are able to select the size, fillings, fabric, legs and cushions, making the Sofa specific to your needs.
If the made-to-order furniture is cancelled by the Customer or the contract is amended without valid reason, the Customer shall pay by way of a specified amount, a reasonable pre-estimate of the costs incurred by Multiyork caused by the Customer cancelling the contract.
If the furniture is delivered and is not of satisfactory quality, Multiyork shall, at the customers option repair or replace the furniture or refund the price of the furniture, provided that the Customer shall, at Multiyork’s expense, return the furniture to Multiyork.
Product guarantee
Cabinet - All Multiyork cabinet furniture is guaranteed for one year.
Upholstery – The springs and frame are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for 15 years (with the exception of the Oakdale / Ryedale recliner chairs, which carry a 5 year construction guarantee).
Sofa bed actions incorporated within all sofa beds carry a 5 year guarantee. Multilux bed mattresses are guaranteed for 5 years and interior sprung mattresses for 2 years. Motions chair mechanisms incorporated within chairs carry a 5 year guarantee. Please note that electric motors are only guaranteed for 2 years.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Fabrics
All fabrics are made to the highest possible standard and only the best dye stuffs are used. Multiyork and the fabric houses guarantee the fabrics for one year from the date of delivery. Sunlight will fade most fabrics and precautions should always be taken to protect fabrics from exposure to direct sunlight. Fabrics are categorised for wear based on the results of the Martindale rub test. Multiyork recommend your chosen fabric achieves a minimum rating for general domestic use.
Damaged goods
If you believe your goods are of an unsatisfactory quality please immediately contact our Customer Service Representatives by e-mail, or call us on 01842 764761 Monday - Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm. Who will take the necessary action to resolve the situation.
Conditions of sale
All Multiyork furniture sold on this site is subject to these terms and conditions. We would advise you to print and retain a copy for your records. These terms and conditions are governed by English law and both parties agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English court
Liability
Except for death or personal injury caused by Multiyork's negligent acts or omissions, Multiyork shall only be liable for any loss or damage which is a reasonably foreseeable consequence of a breach of this agreement. Nothing mentioned in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights in the unlikely event that the goods do not meet a standard requirement by law.
