DELIVERY OPTIONS

WHEN PLACING AN ORDER IN STORE

Two-man delivery (The White Glove Service) £59
  • This is the best option for sofas, armchairs and large upholstery products, large cabinetry and dining furniture
  • Our Home Delivery Service will get in touch with you to arrange the date for delivery
  • 48 hrs before delivery we’ll call you, or send you a text message, to confirm the 3 hour time slot during which we’ll deliver on your delivery date
  • We’ll also call you one hour before delivery to let you know we’re on our way
  • When we arrive our two-man team will position your furniture just where you want it, dress it and take the packaging away for recycling (where possible)
  • To make sure you are completely satisfied with your furniture the delivery team will ask you to sign for your furniture after it has been put in place
One-man delivery   £35
  • This is a good option for medium sized items such as footstools, dining chairs and selected cabinetry
  • Our Home Delivery Service will get in touch with you to arrange the date for delivery
  • 48 hrs before delivery we’ll call you, or send you a text message, to confirm the 3 hour time slot during which we’ll deliver on your delivery date
  • When we arrive our man will deliver your furniture to your door. (Unpacking, assembly and positioning of furniture is not included)
  • You can upgrade to a Two-man delivery at a total cost of £59. 
Parcel Carrier  £10
  • This is a good option for all small products such as scatter cushions, cube inserts, seat cushions, replaceable covers and small shelving units
  • If you’re out when the courier delivers, they will leave a card confirming they have tried to deliver. You can then arrange delivery again by following the instructions on the card.
  • You can upgrade to a One-man service at a total cost of £29 
Store collection
  • We can deliver your purchase to your local store so you can pick it up when it’s convenient, subject to available space in store. We don’t charge for this service.
Local Carrier
  • We can arrange for your purchase to be transported from your local store to your home by a reputable local carrier. The carrier will be responsible for contacting you to arrange home delivery and your order will be covered by their insurance while it’s on its way to you.

WHEN PLACING AN ORDER ONLINE

When ordering online we will select the delivery service, Two-man, One-man or parcel carrier, which is most suited to the products in your order. We regret that we are unable to offer the option of store collection or a local carrier online. 

Providing access for delivery

If you’ve chosen the Two Man delivery option, please make sure it’s practical for our crew to get the furniture into your room of choice. If doors, windows or banisters need to be removed in order to get the furniture in place, please arrange for that separately with your preferred company (we don’t provide these services). Our delivery crew won’t attempt delivery if it’s a Health and Safety risk or if it might damage your home in the process.

Claims for missing or damaged goods

If you want to claim for any missing or damaged merchandise after delivery please get in touch with the Multiyork store you purchased them from within 48 hours of delivery. If you made your order on our website please get in touch with our Customer Service Representatives, details on our website, within 48 hours of delivery.

Changes to your booked delivery date

For One or Two man deliveries, if you change or cancel your booked delivery date within 48hrs of delivery we may make an additional charge. 

Delivery Costs
Orders up to £100 £5 Delivery charge
Orders from £101 to £250 £10 Delivery charge
Orders from £251 to £750 £35 Delivery charge
Orders over £750 £59 Delivery charge

There’s an additional surcharge on all orders delivered to the areas listed below:

  • Scottish offshore Islands – a surcharge of £60.00 per delivery
  • Channel Islands – a surcharge of £50.00 per delivery
  • Isle of Wight or Isle of Man – surcharge of £35 per delivery
  • Northern Ireland – a surcharge of £40.00 per delivery

We charge the full rate for deliveries outside the UK mainland and we give you these details when you order. We may have to vary these delivery charges at times but if we do so we’ll let you know in advance.

Storage

If you’re not able to receive your delivery for any reason, we’ll store your furniture free of charge for 14 days. The 14 days start from the quoted lead time or the first delivery offer, whichever is later.

After the first 14 days there’ll be a weekly charge of £15 VAT to cover the cost of storage and insurance.  If you have any storage charges you’ll need to pay those before we deliver your furniture.
