Pastels and Blooms is one of the hottest trend colours of the year so far. It’s no longer just baby pink and duck egg blue, varying shades of colour in pastel form mixed with delicate floral prints of the same colour palette add vibrancy to any living space.
This trend works with vintage interiors but the modern fresh bloom motifs can add depth to the more contemporary interiors also.
Adding an accent chair in a large pastel bloom print to a neutral pastel colour scheme brings a pop of colour and focal point to a room. Wall colour can add another dimension to the room, try not to go too bold, pick a colour from your bloom motif print and take it down a shade or two to compliment the upholstery you relax in.

Dare to go bold with Berry Blast. The deepest shades are powerful and rich with the softest tints speak romance and sweetness, just like the fruit!
If you’re not brave enough to commit to an entire room of purple add the colour as an accent, or smaller item of furniture.
Purple is a versatile colour as it’s a mix of red and blue and depending on the ratio of either colour can instantly change the mood. More blue adds a cooler touch, or add more red to bring warmth to the room but make sure not to add too much red as this will create a very “earthy” look and feel to the room.
