Spring Trends

It's that time of year when we look to the coming months, Spring bulbs breaking through the ground and feel like refreshing our homes for the lighter, more airy days.

Here we've pulled together some our new season trend colours, looks and styles.

Garden Sanctuary

Create a garden feel in your home by using nature inspired home accessories. An easy way to lift your look is to add some fresh scatter cushions to your sofa. For example, something like the Penglai fabric by Nina Campbell has lovely earthy tones and creates interest in a neutral colour palette.

Osborne & Little’s Butterfly Garden fabric on our Murrayfield Chair is beautifully vibrant and makes a colourful statement. Fill your room with different coloured flowers in different sized vases to echo the colours in the print. This creates an informal look and makes your room an exotic, botanical haven.

Monsoon have a beautiful range at Denby called Veronica made up of beautiful greens and blues, this works perfectly with a garden theme too.

Sunshine Yellow

Daffodils let you know that Spring is on its way (yay!). Bring a little sunshine into your home by finding some home accessories that give a pop of colour. Soft furnishings such as cushions and blankets are a lovely way to do this, cosy up on the sofa and feel like you have the sun beaming in your home.

Our Manhattan Chair in Designers Guilds Amlapura Moss fabric can add a zing of colour as a reading chair to a snug corner or a summer house reading chair.  Just sit back and enjoy the Spring dew as you drink your morning coffee.

Our newly launched Greenwich Sofa in Alcindo Dot Dark Grey is the perfect backdrop to the Alcindo Abstract Lime Scatter Cushion, the lime colour adds that bold pop of colour.

Stripe Style

Another Spring trend is stripes. Use this style in a soft muted palette, have a mixture of widths to layer up the style and incorporate into different areas of your room. And by using softer muted tones and adding some country-home-style accessories, you can create a warm and welcoming room to relax in.

Seaside Deckchairs spring to mind when you consider our Ely Dining Chair in Colthurst Stripe, grab yourself an ice cream and sit back planning your summer holiday.

Nice wide stripes look less busy and create blocks of colours, choose a fabric with two wide stripes then decorating with neutral colours as shown here with our Imogen: Imogen
